Ajith has started on his next project The film named Asal(original). Heroine of this film will be the hot star from Bollywood wowed Tamil audiences with her performance in Vaaranam Aaiyram- Sameera Reddy.

Asal will be directed by Saran. This project was actually been planned with Gautham Menon. After that it went to several directors includes Dharani and Vishuvardhan, but now the project is handle to Saran. The film’s music is going to be done by Harris Jayaraj.
