Will Rajinikanth’s Endhiran (ROBOT) movie Will be Hit or Flop? My view: Mega Hit

Endhiran (ROBOT) movie, which has Rajnikant and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. Shankar has directed the movie, the music has been scored by Oscar winner, A R Rahman.  Sun Pictures, the film production arm of Sun TV Network, has produced Endhiran. Originally Endhiran (ROBOT) movie launched by the London-based Ayngaran International, an arm of Eros International, Sun Pictures took over the film from them.

The much-awaited Tamil movie, Endhiran, which is also being simultaneously released in Hindi and Telugu as Robot, is now set to hit screens across the world on September 24th 2010.

Endhiran (ROBOT) is costliest movie ever made in an Indian language, the film is releasing with a big bang with 3,000 prints in all three languages, a new record for an Indian film.

The overseas theatrical right for the film has been bought by Ayngaran International.

The theatrical right for the Hindi version, Robot has been acquired by Manohar Prasad’s Gemini Film Circuit.

Sun Pictures had earlier sold the Telugu rights to Thota Kanna Rao of Sri Krishna Traders for a record Rs 27 crore.

The Karnataka territory, where the film’s Tamil version will be released, was acquired by Thimme Gowda and Muniraju of Sri Veera Anjaneya Films for Rs 8.5 crore.
