Indian Premier League Reduce The Strategy Break TimeIndian Premier League Reduce The Strategy Break Time

The Indian Premier League is planning to reduce the span of the much criticized seven and a half-minute strategy break for the semi-finals and the final by splitting it into two timeouts of two and a half minutes per innings.

According to sources, the first timeout will be mandatory and will come into effect after the batting power play after the sixth over. The second break will be optional and will be left at the discretion of the fielding side. This will be a real strategy break. Just as in basketball, the teams will have just enough time to rework plans. We are looking at giving the fielding side the power to use it. We are yet to come up with the details. IPL chairman Lalit Modi, too, admitted that the strategy breaks were being reviewed and a new formula would be put in place after the round-robin stage. The technical committee is presently looking into it, trying to come up with new ways to overcome problems the teams are facing.

The Four foreigners rule to stay

Modi also categorically refused to increase the quota of foreigners. This is the Indian Premier League. The focus is on getting local talent and I have shoved away the idea of increasing the number of foreigners. Modi also said that the BCCI is not looking for a permanent window for the IPL in the ICC’s Future Tours Programme.

Tendulkar to play T20 International Masters in New ZealandTendulkar to play T20 International Masters in New Zealand

He already opted out of the squad for the two T20 internationals, Even if he says he had enough of Twenty20 cricket. Tendulkar will still end up playing the hit and giggle version of International Masters in New Zealand. He will only strengthen the NZCPA Masters.
This game is being promoted as the curtain raiser to the second T20 international between India and New Zealand.
It seems Dinesh Karthik will be playing for the ACA Masters team.
The game will allow both Tendulkar and the reserve wicketkeeper to get some game play ahead of the ODI series beginning in Napier on March 3.
The International Masters match will start at the Westpac stadium at 2.30 pm (7.00 am IST).

I went to M.A.Chidambaram Stadium to see test cricket match-India Wins the Chennai MatchI went to M.A.Chidambaram Stadium to see test cricket match-India Wins the Chennai Match

At Monday, i went to see a test cricket match in chennai at M.A.Chidambaram Stadium. when i went to buy a ticket wow!!! there may be 500 of them in front of me. i thought i will not get a ticket but i had .. luck favors me and my friends .. At first i thought, me and two of my friends were only there in the stadium along with the huge crowd.. but it wan’t after 11 0’clock. i met 10 of my friends who already present in the stadium.. i was very lucky to see them back. nearly at 11.30 we went to lunch..i was very happy to see sachin batting …

This was sachin’s favorite ground.. so I wish sachin to get 100, atleast 50 but I am very luck he got his 100 ..it is hard time for yuvaraj when he comes to bat..at first he had a few hiccups ..but he realized it sooner that he should attack.. he done right thing to attack the spinner ..after lunch crowds where amazing we had nice time in the stadium..

it was my dream come true sachin hits the century, where i am seeing him in my own eyes and he was just near to me …..wow!! this was his 41st century… the record get higher and higher..

he is the true master ..he got his 100 and the winning runs too

then we when out very happily.. the main reason why there is Hugh turnaround in the stadium is because of sehwag superb innings and most of all people came to see little master batting ..wow!! we were luckly to see sachin hits a century..

i nearly went all the match which were held in chennai… but this is the one which i love the most because of sachin.. which help india to win and make history as the 4th highest run chase ever…and 1st highest run chase ever in india…

Meerabai Not Out My Latest Review..(Mandira Bedi)Meerabai Not Out My Latest Review..(Mandira Bedi)

Movie Name: Meerabai Not Out

Movie Cast: Mandira Bedi, Eijaz Khan, Anupam Kher and Mahesh Manjrekar; Director: Chandrakant Kulkarn

DirectorChandrakant Kulkarni

Rating: Not Bad *****

Mandira Bedi gets her first full blown lead role and she does justice to the part. Meera Achrekar (Mandira Bedi) is a diehard Anil Kumble fan and teaches mathematics to school students through cricket calculations.

Meerabai Not Out isn’t essentially a sports film but is more about one’s obsession towards any particular element in life and in this case it’s cricket. It is primarily a love story. Unfortunately Meera’s passion for cricket doesn’t quite come across in the film. However director Chandrakant Kulkarni gets the middleclass ambience correct, and for a extent thankfull for the director for not making Anil Kumble act beyond permissible limits.

In this film Editing and camerawork appears jaded. At most instances it lacks punches and falls flat…There’s not much scope for music in the enterprise..

Technically, the film is alright. Dialogue is interesting.. For the new story and Mandira Bedi’s class act, Meerabai Not Out can been seen—-not bad
