India regained the Border Gavaskar trophy,

Their first series win over Australia in eight years, after they bowled Australia out for 209 to win by 172 runs

India confidently stepped into a new era with their captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni winning his third Test in a row.

In a touching tribute to Sourav Ganguly who signed off in this Test. Dhoni let him to captaining the side as the final rites were being administered. Dada signed off as a caption. A perfect ending for a such a great Cricketer. Ganguly and Dhoni embraced at the centre of India’s raucous celebrations.

Dhoni led his team off in style, while people made room for Ganguly to say his final goodbyes.

As the final tribute he let the anil kumble to take the trophy…

Sourav Ganguly’s (Dada’s) Last Test

Days away from playing the last Test match of his distinguished career, former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly Monday said he was taking the Nagpur five-dayer as just another game.

There is no special feeling going into the last Test of my career. It is just like any other game. And I am taking it that way. For me, every Test is special,” Ganguly told newspersons here before leaving for Nagpur.

Everybody has to go (retire) sometime or the other. It’s the team cause that comes first,” he said to persistent queries from scribes on the issue.

Ganguly said new players would come to fill the vacancies created by his departure from international cricket.

The ongoing India-Australia Test series, would be remembered for the retirement of two of India’s biggest cricket stars ” Anil Kumble and Sourav Ganguly“.

Sourav Ganguly’s goodbye to cricket is happening at a place which saw his comeback to a version of the game he dominated at the peak of his prowess.

Ganguly has a decent first-class record here including two tons but before walking back to the pavilion one last time, he will do everything he can to better
