Wipro Ltd, india’s third-largest IT services firm has acquired the enterprise mobile TV unit owned by Finland-based leading mobile phone manufacturer Nokia for an undisclosed sum. A Wipro spokesperson declined comment as the company was in its “silent period” before the announcement of its annual results on Wednesday. It is understood that Nokia has decided to sell the unit as the company is planning to focus on the consumer side of the mobile TV business.
