Sourav Ganguly’s (Dada’s) Last TestSourav Ganguly’s (Dada’s) Last Test

Days away from playing the last Test match of his distinguished career, former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly Monday said he was taking the Nagpur five-dayer as just another game.

There is no special feeling going into the last Test of my career. It is just like any other game. And I am taking it that way. For me, every Test is special,” Ganguly told newspersons here before leaving for Nagpur.

Everybody has to go (retire) sometime or the other. It’s the team cause that comes first,” he said to persistent queries from scribes on the issue.

Ganguly said new players would come to fill the vacancies created by his departure from international cricket.

The ongoing India-Australia Test series, would be remembered for the retirement of two of India’s biggest cricket stars ” Anil Kumble and Sourav Ganguly“.

Sourav Ganguly’s goodbye to cricket is happening at a place which saw his comeback to a version of the game he dominated at the peak of his prowess.

Ganguly has a decent first-class record here including two tons but before walking back to the pavilion one last time, he will do everything he can to better

Thursday starts an era in Indian cricket because a new Test captain Dhoni will take charge .

V.V.S. Laxman’s 100th Test may also turn out to be significant

if India don’t lose it, for that would mean questioning Australia’s supremacy.
